The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won the Presidential election held on Saturday in Kwara and Ondo States.
The final results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday in Abuja saw Tinubu polled a total of 263, 572 while his three other rivals Atiku Abubakar of PDP got 136, 909; Peter Obi of Labour Party scored 31,166 and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of NNPP received a paltry 3, 141 votes.
Also, the APC candidate won the election in Ondo State with 369,924 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of PDP who polled 115,463 votes and Labour Party’s Peter Obi, who garnered 47,350 votes.
In Enugu State, Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi cleared all the 17 local governments polling 428,640 votes.
Atiku Abubakar of the PDP came a distant second with 15,749 votes while Tinubu’s APC only got 4,772 votes.
