Expectations that Election Materials and Ad hoc Staff of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will arrive early at the 176, 846 Polling Units across the 1, 491 Electoral Constituencies in the 774 Local Government Areas of 36 States and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) may have faded as anxious voters arrived earlier than the Electoral Officers.
Prompt News reports that as at 7:45 am Saturday, INEC officials were yet to arrive at most of the PUs visited in Abuja metropolis and the case was the same at FCT suburbs visited by our Correspondent on Election Duty.
For example, no fewer than 20 voters were anxiously waiting for the arrival of the INEC Ad hoc staff at Polling Unit 038 located at Kabusa Garden Estate in Abuja Metropolitan Area Council (AMAC), as at 7:05 am Saturday morning.
After waiting for several minutes under the canopy provided by the management of the Estate, one of the voters provided an Exercise Book for electorate who arrive early to put down their names as they arrive the Unit.
The INEC officials were yet to arrive the Polling Unit as at time of this report even as it was the same situation at Kabusa Primary School Polling Unit 001 and Dakwo LEA Primary School near Sunnyvale Estate at Lokogoma area too.

The Situation at INEC office, Mararaba, Karu is that at about 7:50am, some Presiding Officers especially PO 1-3, Political parties Agents, Police Officers among others are still looking and checking for their place of assignment.
Notwithstanding, the Electoral officer in charge of Karu L.GA., Alh Maikasuwa said almost all the materials and some officials on duty have already moved to their various polling Units.
