Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala claimed 20th position in the 2023 Women’s Ballon d’Or.
Oshoala’s position confirmed her status as one of the best women’s footballer in the world.
The striker’s Barcelona teammate Aitana Bonmati won the award.
Oshoala enjoyed a successful campaign with Barcelona last term winning the Spanish and UEFA Women’s Champions League titles.
The 28-year-old registered 21 goals in the league and further five in the Champions League.
She also featured for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. READ ALSO:
