Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has been mandated to submit his 55-man provisional squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations by December 14.
According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), all the participating countries must submit their provisional squad on the stipulated date.
Peseiro is expected to submit his final 27-man list for the 2023 AFCON finals latest January 3.
CAF has also directed all the countries to submit a list of 27 players instead of 23.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The competition will run from January 13 to February 11, 2024. READ ALSO:
