The Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) will on Sunday distribute traveling bags, Ankara and other necessary materials to intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from the State.
In an exclusive chat with BCOS News, the Board’s Chairman, Professor Sayed H.A Malik disclosed that the distribution of the materials needed for the Hajj exercise will be done at the State Hajj Camp in Olodo, Ibadan.
Professor Malik enjoined all intending pilgrims from the State to converge at the Olodo Hajj Camp on Sunday morning to collect the needed materials.
He revealed that the intending pilgrims have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever and Meningitis.
The Chairman of the Pilgrims Welfare Board Muslim Wing urged the intending pilgrims who are yet to be vaccinated against the diseases to come for the exercise on Sunday.
The airlift of the intending pilgrims from the state is expected to commence on the 17th of this month.
