Two-time FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finalists, the Falconets of Nigeria will begin the quest for the ticket to represent Africa in the 2022 edition in Costa Rica on September 24 when Nigeria and Central African Republic (CAR) will clash in the second round first leg of the African qualifiers.
The Nigeria versus CAR qualifier match will hold in Bangui, capital of CAR, in the weekend of September 23, 24 and 25 while the second leg is slated for Nigeria in October 8 or 9.
According to the fixtures obtained by Prompt News, the Second Round of the African qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup tagged ‘Costa Rica 2022’, which will take place in September and October 2021, will also see powerhouses Ghana travel to Mauritania for the first leg while Cameroon will wait for the winner of the yet to be decided match between Sao Tome et Principe versus DR Congo.
