Golden Eaglets head coach Manu Garba has vowed his team will beat Burkina Faso in their opening fixture at the WAFU B U-17 Championship.
The encounter which is slated for the University Stadium, Accra on Thursday (today) will start at 4pm Nigeria time.
The Golden Eaglets beat same opponent in the final of the sub-regional tournament two years ago.
“We have the confidence we will beat Burkina Faso,” the experienced tactician told a press conference.
“We’re hopeful of the maximum points today.”
Garba also revealed that his team’s main target is qualification to the U17 AFCON. READ ALSO:

“We hope to win all our matches so to qualify for the U17 AFCON,” he added.
“We will take it a game at a time.”
