The death has occurred of Hajiya Sahura Umar Tijjani wife of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA Media) to the Vice President, Umar Sani.
She died at a hospital in Cairo after a protracted illness.
Until her death, Hajiya Sahura Umar was a nursing student in Kaduna and aged 32. She was a devout Muslim and a community leader who will be missed by her peers.
She is survived by her husband, four children and her aged parents. May her departed soul rest in peace.
She will be buried according to Islamic rites in Kaduna as soon as her corpse arrives hopefully Friday 14th June 2013.
