Nigeria’s Falconets defeated Tanzania 2-1 to book a place in the fourth round of the qualifiers for the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers following a 2-1 win against Tanzania in Abuja on Sunday.
The Nigerian girls won the third round contest 3-2 on aggregate.
Janet Aikekoromowei opened scoring for the Falconets in the 15th after she was teed up by Esther Ajakaye.
The visitors equalised five minutes later through Jamila Rajani Mnunduka.
Comfort Folorunso netted the winning goal for the Falconets on the hour mark with Olushola Shobowale providing the assistm
