The Confederation of African Football has confirmed the draw date for the 2023 U-20 Cup of Nations, reports Prompt News.
The draw ceremony will hold at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Nigeria’s U-20 side, the Flying Eagles and 11 other teams will discover their group stage opponents on Friday, December 23.
The Flying Eagles will be joined at the competition by hosts Egypt, Senegal, Zambia, Mozambique, Uganda and South Sudan.
Tunisia, Central African Republic and Congo are the other countries, who have secured their place in the biennial competition.
The 2023 AFCON will be hosted by Egypt from February 18 to March 12.
The four semi-finalists will compete at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
