In this day and age, communication has become a vital skill that people need to learn, whether or not it is their mother tongue. In fact, even if it is your mother tongue, there are certain things you must learn before you can become fluent in spoken communication.

For certain individuals, comprehending a language is one thing, but speaking it flawlessly is quite another. Beyond people’s comprehension and imagination, society has expanded. If you’re not aware, good communication makes a leader. In fact, if you don’t have it, it may be harder to manage your subordinates, which will likely have an impact on your leadership position.
On the other hand, communication is the process by which people exchange information using a shared set of signs, symbols, or behaviors.
However, because everything people do these days involves production, and when something needs to be produced, like a good or service, it needs to be performed to a minimum of 90% proficiency in communication skills. With that, you can proudly declare your products without fear of any negative consequences. In actuality, there are four language skills—English included—that one must properly learn in order to benefit from them both now and down the road. The four language skills are, of course, speaking, writing, listening, and reading. And you can be doing your tasks flawlessly and problem-free with these four abilities because human lives are filled with excellent skills.
The two abilities that comprise receiving are reading and listening. The remaining two, speaking and writing, are the person’s forms of production. The two that matter the most are speaking and writing because they both benefit people. Information spreads more widely when it is good because it impacts public policy, and when it is bad, it affects people differently depending on how it is disseminated. Because of this, speaking/communication and writing skills are likely necessary to change public opinion and keep people on the right path in particular on the leadership route.
As time went on, I found myself in a scenario that has shaped my life to this day. The scenario taught me the basics of writing and communication, which is all I know today. In 2019, I had a senior who struggled with poor English speech, which destroyed his standing and caused him to fall behind. His poor grammar was also perceived by others as a sign of failure. We were all together in the staff room, where the teachers were waiting for us to speak up so we could persuade them to respect our presence and not beat us again.
He needed to talk, but he kept trembling and babbling in front of the teachers, so they ignored him and looked at me instead. I began by using the proverbial words, and as soon as I started speaking, they started to understand that I was the best candidate for the job—not him. He was recently demoted so that I could advance in his role and take control of his rights.
I realized right away that society is not built on merit; rather, people must act morally and acquire excellent communication skills. It benefits people in all facets of life; as a leader, for example, it is essential that they have effective communication skills because it enables them to reassure their followers that they have chosen the right individual for the job. Even if they are insufficiently skilled, their ability to communicate can persuade thousands of opponents to join their side. Most of the time, communication is power.
Simply put, even if you’re not working in the field where communication skills are most needed, you should still learn them. It will enrich your meaningful life and transform you into a better, more decent person in the eyes of society. Production is very important; one must create excellent products that will help others and turn injustice into righteousness.
Learning to produce writing and communication to the public will help you turn wrongs into rights and keep the society around you. These are examples of production skills. Additionally, it perfectly shapes your name in society and brands your personality. Being able to communicate effectively is essential for being a leader, and if one has mastered it, they can break many records in a variety of fields, including politics.
