Alfa Musa

The Prophet (p.b.u.h) is reported to have said you should take time to reflect on Allah’s words or creation that is better than a night’s worship. It is in that light it pays so much to take time and ponder on creation itself and it will moderate your excesses making you an Ibadur-Rahaman. (A true worshipper of the ‘Most Merciful’) The next question is who is ‘The Most Merciful’? One might then ask who Allah is. Answer is Allah is the Most Merciful. The next question from a questioning mind will be who is Allah and what can He do? At this juncture, it is better I allow the Qur’an ( The Book of Allah ) , introduce Allah to you!

59:22. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows [all things] both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

59:23. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace [and Perfection], the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of  Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! [High is He] above the partners they attribute to Him.

If you acknowledge this, then you can reflect on today, yesterday and tomorrow. If you do it right, your today is calm, tomorrow is guaranteed and yesterday is memorable

Yesterday is gone, today is here and tomorrow has not come, however tomorrow will come. The tragedy of un-religious person is that he hardly remembers yesterday, messed up today all because he never thinks tomorrow will ever come. To the materialist, yesterday is the 24-hours back, today is here and now; while tomorrow are the next 24-hours moving forward. To the atheist, yesterday is an accident, today is what matters and tomorrow may never come.

The Man of Faith has accepted the fact that yesterday gave birth to today, tomorrow is certain and that, tomorrow depends on how you spend your today – The link is un-broken and that will raise the stake for accountability.

Islam has indicated that yesterday begins before Adam (a.s) was created, today is what you are doing and knows about this minute while tomorrow is the next minute- hidden from you but clear to your Creator – Allah (s.w.t). He not only has knowledge of the next hour, days, weeks, months or years stretched to future. He has knowledge of when your death will be, where your grave is to be, the Day your resurrection will be and it is Allah (s.w.t) that preside on Judgment Day!

In other words, tomorrow could be as short as the next second or less and as lengthy as resurrection day and beyond. Come along and have a taste of faith from the perspective of Islam. This is the ‘Essence of Life’. . .

Common Purpose / Working Together

Maida 5: 48. To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: So judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open way. If Allah had so willed, he would have made you a single People, but (His Plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: So strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute;

Recipe for Good Governance

49. And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crimes it is Allah’s purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.

Judgment is for Allah (s.w.t)

50. Do they then seek after a judgment of (the Days of) Ignorance? But who, for a people whose faith is assured, can give better judgment than Allah?

Attestation of the Glorious Qur’an: greetings, the deceased – asuni, badmus, and others,

21. Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitude which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

What could ruin your future?

5:90. O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination, –of Satan’s handiwork: Eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.

Why you must avoid intoxicant and mood changer

91. Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: Will ye not then abstain?

Your free will is not unlimited

92. Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle, and beware (of evil): If ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Apostle’s duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner.

How to spend your resources ( Donation )

2:195. And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to [your] destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.

(Note: beer, grass, powder, guns, bombs, rigging of elections, cooking the books by banks and MDA’s are all evil; – make not your own hands contribute to [your] destruction)

A short Story:

v    A highly skilled mason was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house building business

v    The employer was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if the mason could build just one more house as a personal favor. The mason agreed to this proposal but made sure that this will be his last project. Being in a mood to retire, the mason was not paying much attention to details. His heart was not in his works. He resorted to poor workmanship by using inferior materials

v    The mason called his employer and showed him the house. The employer handed over some papers and the front door key to him and said “This is your house, my gift to you.”

v    The mason was in a shock! What a shame! If he had only known that he was building his own house, he would have made it better than any other house that he ever built!

Consider your situation to this mason. Allah (s.w.t) has sent you to this world to build your home in paradise by obeying His commands. Now, decide how well you wish to build the home where you will live forever.

Future Home is owner / occupier

Qassas 28: 83. That Home of the Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not highhandedness or mischief on earth: and the end is [best] for the righteous.

The Message of all times

88. And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no god but He.

Everything [that exists] will perish except His Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye [all] be brought back.

85. Verily He Who ordained the Qur’an for thee, will bring thee back to the

Place of Return. Say: “My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error.”

Do not be deceived!!!

31:33. O mankind! Do your duty to your Lord, and fear [the coming of] a Day when no father can help his son or a son help his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceives you, nor let the chief deceiver (shaetan and his agents) deceive you about Allah.

What will your tomorrow be like?

Ashr 59: 18. O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what [provision] He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is well-acquainted with [all] that ye do.

Allah (s.w.t) is never unjust!

19. And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors!

The tomorrow is Paradise / hell

20. Not equal are the Companions of the Fire and the Companions of the Garden: it is the Companions of the Aljanna (Garden) that will achieve Felicity.

Dear reader, be aware of the devil, obey Allah, obey the Messenger and obey those that are rightly guided in the authority, which is the essence of life. Need I say more? Yesterday, today and tomorrow – reflect on it, reflect on your future Home.

“Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan which Allah will double unto his credit and multiply many times? It is Allah that giveth (you) want or plenty and to Him shall be your return.”HQ2:245
