Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has announced her departure from Leicester City Women’s team.
The centre-back spent three seasons with the Foxes.
Plumptre linked up with Leicester City in 2020 and won the Championship title with the club the following season.
The Nigerian was a regular player all through her stay at the club.
Plumptre made 58 league appearances for Leicester and scored two goals, PROMPT NEWS reports.
She is currently training with the Super Falcons ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
