Super Eagles forward, Saviour Godwin has been named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Portuguese Primeira Liga for September/October, reports Prompt News.
Godwin has led his modest club, Casa Pia to an unprecedented start to the season.
The former Golden Eaglets star beats Benfica’s Joao Mario and Ricardo Horta to the individual award.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals in 13 league appearances for Casa Pia this season.
Filipe Martins’ side currently occupy fifth position in the Primeira Liga table.
They will face Portimonense after the World Cup break.
Saviour joined Casa Pia from Belgian club, KSV Roeselare in 2019.
