William Troost-Ekong can’t hide his excitement after making his debut for Serie A club, Salernitana in the 2-1 win against Leece on Friday night.
The centre-back, who joined the Garnets from Sky Bet Championship club, Watford during the week was thrown into action immediately at the Stadio Via del Mare.
Troost-Ekong started and completed 90 minutes as Salernitana recorded their first win in three months.
Senegal forward Boualaye Dia opened scoring for the visitors on five minutes.
Tonny Vilhena swept home from 12 yards in the 20th minute to make it 2-0 for Salernitana.
Guiseppe Pezzella reduced the deficit for the home team straight after Salernitana’s second goal.
