Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr says he will make a decision on his future after Wednesday’s third placed match between his side and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
The German has come under intense criticism following the Super Eagles 2-1 defeat to the Desert Foxes of Algeria in their semifinal clash on Sunday. President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, stated on Monday night that the soccer house will retain the former Bordeaux coach despite widespread calls for his removal.
But Rohr has hinted that he will provide answers on whether he will remain in the post or call it quit.
“For now, we a match to play on Wednesday. It is important to finish the competition on a high. After the game tomorrow, I will come out with a statement on my future,” he declared.
The Super Eagles, Tunisia clash will take place at the Al Salam Stadium on Wednesday. Kick off is 8pm Nigerian time.
