CAF has approved the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo for Rivers United’s home fixtures in the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
The Confederation of African Football released the list of approved venues for the group stage on Tuesday.
Stanley Eguma’s side have now been denied the use of their home ground, Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt for the second season.
The Port Harcourt club also played their group stage home games in the competition at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium last season. READ ALSO:

Rivers United are in Group C with Club Africain of Tunisia, Ghana’s Dream FC and APC Lobito of Angola.
The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions were eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Young Africans of Tanzania last season.
