Baring last minutes change, the Super Eagles will play the Stallions of Burkina Faso in September.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is already finalizing arrangement with the Burkina Faso Football Body for the match to hold during the FIFA window in Kaduna.
Reliable source at the Football House confirmed to Prompt News Online, that the international friendly match has been tidied up and that Nigerians would be able to watch a repeat of the final of the African Cup of Nations in South Africa, which Nigeria won by a lone goal.
Our source who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that Kaduna State Government has agreed to sponsor game and that NFF is in the process of completing the paper work for the match but also expressed confidence that the match will surely hold.
The General Secretary of the NFF, Musa Amadu when asked to confirm the match said he would brief the media when all the necessary things have been done.
Super Eagles will take on Bafana Bafana this August 14 in Durban, South Africa. This game will further prepare the team ahead of the crucial World Cup 2014 qualifiers against Malawi on September 7, 2013.
