Shooting Stars midfielder Raheem Quadri, is optimistic the club will end the season with a continental ticket.
Quadri expressed this optimism while featuring on Broadcasting Cooperation of Oyo State (BCOS) TV live programme on Thursday.
“I want to assure our teeming supporters and fans that the much sought after continental ticket will be secured at the end of the season.
“With God on our side, the support of our number one backer, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, coupled with the commitment of the Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro led management, and the efforts of the Gbenga Ogunbote led technical crew, our dream will surely be realised”, said the former Dogan Turk Brligi of Cyprus midfielder. The ex Buffle FC Du Borgu of Benin Republic player, attributed the improvement in the performance of the team in the second round of the season to determination.
“We were not happy with how the first round went for us, so we came into the second round, determined to change the tide, knowing fully the expectations of our supporters”, stated Quadri.
