Determined to prevent members of the public from gaining access into the popular Eagle Square Abuja, Police have shot teargas canisters on those participating in the #EndBadGovernance protest which kicked off in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja Thursday morning.
The protesters who were earlier restricted to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja where seen going towards the Eagle Square near the Three-Army Zone at the Central Business District (CBD).
They were however, barred from accessing by the FCT Administration by the last-minute procurement of court orders to prevent protesters from gathering at the Eagle Square.
Television footages are also showing that one protesters has been reportedly injured as police fired tear gas on protesters approaching the Eagle Square. READ ALSO:
