Napoli coach Rudi Garcia has hinted that Victor Osimhen will remain at the club beyond this summer.
Osimhen has been in the news this summer with a number of top clubs in Europe circling around him.
President of the club, Aurelio de Laurentiis recently stated that he expected the Nigeria international to stay at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
Garcia has however assured that the teaming fans of the club that the striker is committed to the Partenopei.
“Of course I have spoken to him (Osimhen). I can assure you that he wants to stay, he is happy to be with us and still wants to do great things,” the coach said in a press conference via TMW.
The 24-year-old was top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals from 32 games.
The Partenopei have started their pre-season training camp in Dimaro, ready to start working towards the 2023-24 season, which kicks off next month.
