Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says Victor Osimhen is close to signing a new contract at the club.
The Nigeria international has one and a half years on his contract current with the Serie A champions.
The Partenopei however want Osimhen to commit to another two-year contract.
The 24-year-old played a key role in Napoli’s title success last season, but saw his relationship soured with the club after they uploaded a video to their TikTok page that mocked him.
“For Osimhen we are at the signing stage which had been pending since the summer,” De Laurentiis told reporters.
The forward has scored six goals in 12 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season. READ ALSO:
