Kenneth Omeruo has pulled out of Nigeria’s friendly encounter against Ukraine at the Dnipro Arena on September 10.
Omeruo, according to competent source close to the defender is currently processing his work permit in Spain hence the need for him to pull out of the game.
The centre-back who joined Leganes on a permanent contract from Chelsea last month has made two league appearances for the club this season.
He is the second player to pull out of the game after Wilfred Ndidi who was ruled out as a result of a minor hamstring injury.
The Leicester City midfielder had since been replaced by PAOK of Greece player, Anderson Esiti by head coach of the team, Gernot Rohr.
Rohr has also added Locomotiv Moscow defender Bryan Idowu to the squad for the game.
It remain to be seen if Rohr will name a replacement for Omeruo ahead of the game.
