A strong Nigerian delegation of players and officials will depart Abuja tomorrow morning aboard Air  Cote d Ivoire flight.
The African Champion, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will clash with Les Elephantes of Cote d Ivoire in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics African qualifier first leg tie on Thursday.
Nigeria eliminated Algeria on 3-0 goals aggregated after a 2-0 away victory in Algeria and another 1-0 win Agege stadium in Lagos in the return leg to qualify to face the Ivoirens at this stage.
It is expected to be a tricky match for Nigeria as the Ivoirens that also bundled out tough Mali to book a date with the Falcons are not easy meat like Algeria. They have been improving with every match.
Again, the Super Falcons that will face Cote d Ivoire in Abidjan have evolved as a new Sheriff is in Town with Coach Christopher  Danjuma leading the team in the absence of Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby who is yet return from his native Sweden.
But Danjuma who has just led the Nigeria U-20 girls to win Gold medal recently at All Africa Games in Morocco is not a new person to the Falcons having once handled the team in the past.
Most of the first team Falcons  players graduated from his Falconets team including first choice goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie; strikers Cynthia Aku and Gift Monday.
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has fixed the return leg of the for Monday, October 7 at Agege stadium in Lagos.
