Super Falcons defender, Glory Ogbonna will remain at Turkish club, Besiktas after putting pen to paper on a new one-year contract.
Ogbonna’s previous contract was due to expire this summer.
Besiktas announced the news on their X and Instagram platform.
“Besiktas United Payment team have renewed the contract of our Nigerian defender Glory Ogbonna within the scope of the transfer efforts for the 2024/25 season,” reads the statement.

“Since joining Besiktas, it has been an amazing time, and the fans have been great. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds,” she stated.
The centre-back made 28 appearances for Besiktas in the 2023/24 season with one goal to her name.
