Stanley Nwabali is now a major doubt for the Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana and Mali as a result of injury.
Nwabali was forced out of Chippa United’s 2-0 defeat to reigning PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
The Nigeria international was in action for 73 minutes in the game.
The severity of what is suspected to be a knee injury will only be ascertained in the coming days.
A replacement is expected to be named in squad in case he fails to recover in time from the injury.
The Super Eagles will keep a date with eternal rivals Ghana at the Grande de Marrakech on Friday, March 22. READ ALSO:
