The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ogun Command, has called on private entities and institutions to partner more with it to combat insecurity.
The spokesperson of the corps, Mr Dyke Ogbonnaya, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Friday, in Ogun.
He said that such partnership was necessary to achieve result-oriented security.
Ogbonnaya commended the people that had given support to the corps, and said their efforts would not be in vain.
” By and large, in Ogun , the corps has received support in terms of vehicles and other logistics.
“However, the corps still seek more from willing individuals and private concerns for the best result-oriented security,” he said.

He said NSCDC would also leverage team work and collaboration with sister agencies to battle criminality.
While wishing indigenes peaceful co- existence, he urged them not to indulge in bad behaviour, but rather to toe the path of peace. (NAN)
