In a colourful ceremony witnessed by some government and NFF officials, the much awaited 2022/2023 NPFL Abridged League draws was held in Abuja with the winner to cart home with 100 million Naira.
Akwa United Vs Insurance of Benin was announced by the IMC Chairman Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye as Star match at Next of Champion Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
GROUP A has teams like Kwara United, Nasarawa United, Plateau United, Gombe United, El-Kanemi Warriors, Enyimba Int’l FC, Akwa United, Bendel Insurance, Shooting Stars and Remo Stars.
Teams like Niger Tornadoes, Doma United, Wikki Tourists, Lobi Stars, Rivers United, Abia Warriors, Dakkada FC, Rangers Int’l, Sunshine Stars and Bayelsa United are in Group B.
