Malam Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has lost his daughter.
Prompt News reports that Miss Fatima Kyari, aged 25, died on Friday, after protracted illness.
In a condolence message, President Bola Tinubu sympathizes with Kyari and the rest of the family on the irreparable and painful loss.
President Tinubu prays for the repose of the soul of Fatima and urges the Kyari family to stay strong at these trying times, Presidential Adviser on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said in a statement.
in the same vein, Vice-President Kashim Shettima has also condoled with the family of Mele Kyari.
Shettima, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased, asked God to grant the family members the strength to bear the painful exit of their daughter, who was in her prime.
Vice-President Shettima led other mourners at the funeral prayer, held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
