Chiamaka Nnadozie has sent a powerful message to aspiring young female footballers across Africa.

The Paris FC goalie claimed the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award at the CAF Awards 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday night.
Nnadozie was the first recipient of the award.
The shot stopper was recognised for her exemplary displays for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and her club.
The 22-year old recalled how her father who never wanted her to become a footballer will be proud of her feat.
” To all the young girls growing up in Africa, dreaming of becoming a footballer one day, believe me dreams do come true,” she said after receiving the award.
“My dad didn’t want me to play football but I’m sure he’s gonna see this and be happy. READ ALSO:
