The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Saturday, announced 453 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total infections to 46,140.
It also announced six new deaths – two in Benue and one each in Lagos, Ondo, FCT and Enugu, bringing the total fatalities to 942.
The new cases spread across 19 States and FCT which led with 75 new cases.
Lagos and Benue States followed with 71 and 53 new cases respectively.
Meanwhile, 33,043 patients have so far been treated of COVID-19 and discharged across the federation.
