The Nigeria Police Force has declared Ihuoma Julia Nneji, daughter of ABC Transport founder Frank Nneji, wanted over allegations of cybercrime.
The declaration was made public on Tuesday night by the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCC) in Abuja through an official post on the Force’s Facebook page.
According to the police, the charges against Miss Nneji include criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking.
Investigations by MCC News revealed that Miss Nneji and several associates allegedly engaged in cyberbullying and online blackmail targeting an Abuja-based businessman (name withheld) between August and September 2024.
In response to the incident, social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, issued a video statement on September 24, 2024.
In it, he gave Miss Nneji a 24-hour ultimatum to publicly retract the alleged defamatory content and apologize to the businessman, warning that he would release evidence against her if she failed to comply.
