Action resumed in match day 12 of the Nigeria Premier Football League and it was a day to forget for Nasarawa United who suffered a home defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors.
The Maiduguri-based club are having a difficult season which has seen them lost the last three consecutive matches, twice against Kwara United and the last one against Remo Stars in Maiduguri.

The Solid Miners revived their survival hope last weekend when they held Enyimba International to a 1-1 draw in Aba.
They failed to consolidate on the draw secured last weekend as they lost 1-2 to El-Kanemi.
Ugochukwu Ajah put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute before James Isaac equalised in the 37th minute from the penalty spot.
Jacob Jonathan scored a late winner to hand El-Kanemi a 1-2 win and maximum points.
