As part of the National Insurance Commission’s drive to sensitise stakeholders on the benefits of compulsory insurances, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has taken the sensitization campaign to Nasarawa State.
The Commissioner for Insurance, Mr Sunday Thomas on Monday led a delegation from NAICOM on a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of the State, Mr Abdullahi A. Sule to intimate him and members of his executive council about the benefits of insurances.
The categories of insurance involved are, Public Buildings and Buildings Under Construction, 3rd Party Motor Insurances, amongst others.
The Commissioner for Insurance also used the opportunity the visit to formally invite the Governor to the National Insurance Conference scheduled to hold from 22-24 October, 2023. READ ALSO:

In his remarks, the Governor gave a personal testimony of while he was still in the private sector, the sugar refinery where he worked as the Managing Director was razed by fire but thanks to insurance, a newer and better one was built from the claims paid by insurance company.
