            Airtel

As part of its commitment to reward and empower its customers, leading telecommunications service provider Airtel Nigeria, has introduced an exciting trivia-based mega consumer Promo to delight and handsomely reward subscribers with millions of cash prizes daily.

The Promo, tagged Airtel STEP UP Promo, is anchored on a point-based interactive SMS system where customers will accumulate points to increase their chances of winning by responding to questions.

It is divided into three categories of Bronze, Silver and Gold with each category attracting a charge of ₦10, ₦50 and ₦100 respectively.

Customers who wish to enter the Basic level and compete for the daily prize of ₦500,000 will send the keyword ‘UP’ to the short code 2222. The more questions answered, the higher the chances of winning.

Customers can increase their chances of winning big by stepping up from the Bronze level (₦10) to the higher levels of Silver Club (₦50) and Gold Zone (₦100) that award more points per correct answer and offer the daily cash prize of ₦2,000,000 (two million naira).

To move from the lower tier to a higher one, customers would simply answer positively when invited during the game. The users with the most correct answers will have the highest chances of winning the big prize of ₦2,000,000 cash.

According to Chief Operating Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Deepak Srivastava, “Airtel Step Up Promo” will lift a large number of Nigerians into instant millionaires while others will step up the financial ladder with a whooping ₦500,000 cash prizes every day for 90 days.

Stated Srivastava: “The Step Up promo is based on general knowledge questions. While testing out one’s general knowledge, it also offers one the opportunity to win as much as N2M. This is a great way of horning one’s general knowledge and at the same time qualifying to winning prizes.”

According to him, Airtel has Nigeria’s largest and widest mobile network and the Step Up Promo offers consumers the best opportunity to port to “the only network that works”.

Also, Srivastava added that the company has engaged the services of renowned firm in systems, processes and applications audit, Alexander Forbes, to supervise the draws and prize redemption processes in a bid to further demonstrate transparency and sustain Airtel’s well-known credibility in conducting consumer promotions that is in line with set regulations over the years.
