Legal fireworks is set to begin as the paternity row between businessman, Dr Tunde Ayeni and Abuja-based lady Ms Adaobi Alagwu, has again resurfaced.
Prompt News reports that Ayeni is insisting that the DNA result presented by his estranged ‘mistress’ is fake.
In a press statement he personally signed, Ayeni said the DNA certificate is unreliable and compromised.
The statement reads: “This document does not reflect the genuine results we expected. It became necessary to address this matter publicly due to the inconsistencies we observed during the testing process.
“The result was initially scheduled for release within five days. However, a letter later surfaced, purportedly from the testing centre, extending the date by two days. Upon contacting the centre directly, we were informed that they had no knowledge of the letter or the individual who signed it. This raised significant concerns about the integrity of the process.
“We discovered irregularities suggesting that an external party may have accessed our email communication with the laboratory. As a result, we lost confidence in the process and sought a new test from a different facility, which Ms Alagwu declined.
“The matter is now before the court, and we trust the legal system to address the situation based on the evidence presented.”
