The Interim management committee of Katsina United Football Club (FC), has directed the club’s Technical Adviser (TA), Mr Tony Tope-Bolus, to step down over an alleged insubordination.
The Media officer of the club, Mr Gide Nasir, revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Katsina on Tuesday.
According to Nasir, the directive is contained in a letter dated Nov 13, 2023, and signed by Mr Aminu Alhassan, the club’s Secretary.
“According to the letter, the management has frowned at the TA’s ineptitude since the beginning of the season which is seriously affecting the performance of the team.
“Similarly the insubordination shown by the TA after the team’s away match against Abia Warriors for putting the lives of the players and officials at risk enforcing them to travel down to Enugu at night despite security warning is not acceptable to the management .
“The management henceforth, has set up a Committee that will investigate the matter and submit its report within a short period of time.
“The management is therefore advising the club TA to step aside pending the outcome of the committee report,” he said. (NAN). READ ALSO:
