Kano Pillars and Katsina United will make a return to the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) next season after securing promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) on Wednesday.
The two clubs picked the tickets in the NNL Northern Conference at the Super Eight playoffs in Asaba.
Katsina United defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 but both teams made it through to the NPL after EFCC fell to a 2-0 defeat against DMD in the other game.
Pillars top the standings with six points from three games.
Katsina United finished on same points but have an inferior goal difference.
They two clubs joined Sporting Lagos who secured their berth in the NPL on Monday.
