South African giants Kaizer Chiefs have rekindled their interest in Stanley Nwabali, according to Soccerladuma.
Nwabali was linked with the Chilli Boys this summer after impressing for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 28-year-old kept four clean sheets in seven outings at the competition.
The former Enyimba shot stopper signed a new three-year contract with Chippa United before the start of the current campaign.
He was also made the Chilli Boys captain putting an end to speculation surrounding his future.
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly ready to re-visit their interest in the shot stopper in January.
The Amakhosi have conceded 13 goals this term, the highest in the South African top-flight.
