Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State has advocated continuous collaboration to make the Kaduna International Trade Fair attractive and economically viable.
He stated this during the closing ceremony of the 45th Kaduna International Trade Fair, on Sunday in Kaduna.
The fair with the theme: “Sustainable Economic Recovery Through Deeping of Local Content value Chain,” lasted for days.
Represented by Mr Yusuf Sale, Permanent Secretary, Kaduna State Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology, Sani said that such partnership would explore new opportunities for the upcoming fair.
Sani urged stakeholders to display high sense of commitment and foster collaboration for a substantial fair in 2025, adding that the ongoing collaboration would encourage participants to build on established networks.
The governor lauded companies and other exhibitors who showcased their products, and called for further transformation of the upcoming fair billed for Feb. 14, 2025.
Also, Mr Ishaya Idi, President of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), commended all exhibitors who contributed to the success of the fair.
He highlighted the significance of hosting the fair in spite of the harsh economic realities, adding that it would accelerate growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

While commending the Federal and Kaduna State Government for their supports, Idi said the Chamber with 50 years of existence would be dedicated to the annual hosting of the fair,
The event featured presentation of awards to exhibitors in recognition of their contributions to the successful conduct of the fair. (NAN)
