Alex Iwobi has moved past Kanu Nwankwo’s Premier League assist record, Prompt News reports.
Iwobi achieved the feat in Fulham‘s 3-1 home win against Newcastle United at the Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The 28-year-old provided the assist for Emile Smith Rowe’s second goal.
It was the midfielder’s 30th assist in the English top-flight.
Kanu previously held the record after providing 29 assists during his stints with Arsenal, West Brom and Portsmouth.
Iwobi once had stint with Arsenal and Everton.
He has registered one goals three assists for Fulham this season.
