Super Falcons forward Folashade Florence Ijamilusi’s hat-trick and a floating goal by striker Gift Monday ensured Nigeria beat Algeria’s Les Fennecs 4-1 in the hot Tuesday afternoon.
It was the second leg match at Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos to finish the double-header international friendlies on 6-1 goals aggregate.
Prompt News reports that Nigeria also defeated Algeria 2-0 in the first leg tie played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne Remo Ogun State over the weekend.
Ijamilusi scored a brace in the first half after she find the net in the 10′ and 18′ while Monday made it three goals for Nigeria in the 45′ after substitute Alouache Ouassila got one goal back for Algeria in the 42′.
