Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has opened up on his international future amid rumours of his readiness to represent Nigeria.
The 22-year-old was born in England to Nigerian parents.
Okonkwo is still eligible to represent Nigeria at the senior level despite already playing for England at the youth level.
Okonkwo claimed he is still open to representing both Nigeria and England.
“I’m still really ambitious to play at the international level. I can still play for England or Nigeria, and I’ve not made a choice yet,” he told The Mirror.
The young goalie impressed on loan at Wrexham last season.
