Former Flying Eagles striker Chukwubukem Ikwuemesi is undergoing a routine medical at Serie A club Salernitana.
The forward will complete a permanent transfer to Salernitana from Slovenian club, NK Celje upon the completion of the medical.
Ikwuemesi was previously close to signing for newly promoted Serie A club, Le Havre before the move broke down.
Another move to Latvian club, Riga FC also failed to see the light of the day.
The Nigerian attracted interest across Europe after registering nine goals and five assists for NK Celje last season. READ ALSO:

The 22-year-old was part of the Flying Eagles squad to the WAFU B U-20 Championship in 2020.
