Chelsea’s Right Back, Reece James has revealed that he received more hate and negative than support since getting injured over a fortnight ago.
The England International has endured recurring hamstring injuries in the last 18 months which has substantially restricted his playing times for both club and country.
After his latest setback, James revealed that since his injury, he has received a “good amount of support but significantly more hate and negativity”.
He said this via his verified Instagram handle saying, “”Believe me, I don’t wanna be injured. I’m happiest when I’m playing football”.
He also revealed that he had undergone surgery today to fix the recurring hamstring issue and anticipated quick physical and mental recovery.
“The footballing world knew I got injured but the procedure I’d go down this time took slightly longer to figure out the best solution”. READ ALSO:

“I had surgery today to try to fix my recurring hamstring issue, the recovery has started, both physically and mentally”, he said.
He however appreciated his fans saying, “thanks to the understanding people that support me despite the highs or lows, it goes a long way”.
