Many residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who ventured out on Monday to access their offices, business premises and duty posts did that under the atmosphere of uncertainties as security agencies and #EndHardship protesters were engaged on rat race especially in the metropolis.
Prompt News reports that the protesters are being prevented by security agencies who were deployed massively across the FCT to assembly at any point to continue their protests over the economic hardship in Nigeria.
A drive around the FCT Monday showed that security agencies made up of the Nigerian Police Force( NPF) and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSDC) were seen at strategic places like Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja vicinity, Eagle Square, Federal Secretariat and others locations including under the bridges and major roundabouts like Berger, Area 1, Apo bridge, Gudu, Lugbe Car Wash and many other areas.
It was observed that most of vehicles plying the streets and major areas of the city are carrying green leaves and palm fronds to symbolise peace and to avoid attack by the protesters and law enforcement agents.
Meanwhile, it was observed that many people who dared to go to the city on Monday went to either the banks to do some transactions or went to the markets to buy food items which prices have skyrocketed more since the #EndBadGovernance protests broke out last week. READ ALSO:
