Two goals in each half of the game scored by new boy Ogu Michael hit a brace with the first goal coming in the 20″ while the second on the day came in the 60″ to hand Heartland FC a deserved 2-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes of Minna.
The match played at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri eased the pressure on Technical Adviser Emmanuel Amuneke after a poor start of the season.
The Naze Millionaires would have scored more goals especially in the second stanza but for their poor marksmanship in front of goalpost even as the handful of faithful fans who thronged the stadium wanted to see more goals.
The visiting team put up a decent performance and getting the second balls off Heartland players but could not trouble their opponents much in the game till the final whistle.
By this victory, Heartland has bagged its first three points of the season and have now earned four points in five matches after losing three of the five games of the current season.
