Les Bleues of France coach Laurent Bonadie reckoned his players must be at their best to beat the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The Europeans will host the nine-time African champions in a friendly at the Stade Raymond Kopa, Angers on Saturday night ( today).
Prompt News reports that Les Bleues have never lost to the West Africans, having won their three previous meetings.
Despite his team’s perfect record against the Super Falcons, Bonadie is not expecting an easy game.
“Nigeria was at the Olympics where they finished last in Group C. Spain could only beat them 1-0,” he told L’équipe.
“Also at the World Cup, England defeated them 4-2 on penalties.
“It’s a solid team, with powerful and fast players. It’s a tough team to stop.
“You will have to attack them while being vigilant about the transitions. We must take advantage of their imbalances, too, on counter-pressing.”
