Captain Rasheedat Ajibade grabbed a brace as the Super Falcons defeated the Green Ladies of Algeria 2-0 in a friendly at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Saturday.
Prompt News reports that Ajibade scored the two goals in the first half of the keenly contested encounter.
The Atletico Madrid of Spain star opened scoring for Justine Madugu’s side with a sublime finish on 24 minutes.
The forward doubled the advantage in first-half added time.
The 24-year-old has now scored six goals in 20 appearances for the nine-time African champions
Both teams failed to hit target in the second half.
They will clash again in the second friendly at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos next week Tuesday.
