Fiorentina have rejected Aston Villa bid for defender Michael Kayode.
Kayode has a lot of admirers around Europe and Villa are looking to tie up a deal quickly for the Nigerian-born player.
The Premier League club’s €15m plus add-ons offer was not deemed suitable by Fiorentina.
The Viola want €20m plus add-ons to sell the full-back.
Villa are expected to return with a new proposal in the near future.
The 19-year-old right back joined the Viola from Gozzano back in July 2021 and spent two years in their Primavera squad before being promoted to Vincenzo Italiano’s first team last summer, giving him the chance to show his abilities in Serie A.
Kayode make a big impression on his top-flight campaign, scoring once and providing four assists across 37 matches for Fiorentina. READ ALSO:
